The biggest anime box sets of all time were announced at Anime Expo 2017.
The official box set of Shinkai’s latest anime, Zuukan!, was revealed on Thursday.
The box set is a re-release of the anime’s original Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases, with all of the English subtitles and subtitled audio tracks added.
The anime was first released in 2005, and will receive a Blu-Ray Disc/DVD Combo Pack on September 12.
It is set to release on July 28.
The Blu-rays and DVD combo pack will cost $79.99.
There are also plans to release the Japanese version of the show on Blu-Rays on September 22.
The Japanese release will be priced at $59.99, while the American release will cost a whopping $74.99 (via Anime Expo).
An anime adaptation of the manga series Kōbō Taishō , which was published in 2011, has also been announced for a September release.
The film will be directed by Yōji Mizuno (Bakuman, Boku no Hero Academia), and stars Kei Miyano, Risa Mizuki, Aoi Yūsuke, Yūichi Takagi, and Masako Nozawa.
The cast also includes Yūtetsu Ōsaki, who also voices Takuma.
The manga will be written by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Shukyaku no Yuusha, Highschool of the Dead), and directed by Yuya Noda (Highschool of War).
The film is slated for a 2018 release.
An anime series based on the popular manga series, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya , will also be released in 2019.
The series, which was adapted into a TV anime series by MAL (The Melancholic Haruho), is scheduled to premiere in October.
The story follows Haruha, a middle school student living in Tokyo.
After being bullied by classmates, Haruhei must decide whether to pursue his dreams as a writer or pursue a career as a chef.
The project is a spinoff of the Japanese manga series and will be released by MST3K (Love Live!
Sunshine!!, Love Live!
School Idol Festival).
A remake of the film series, Melancholia, is also in the works for a 2019 release.
An anime based on a manga of the same name is slated to premiere on November 8.
The original manga series centers on Haruhiro, a high school student who is obsessed with writing and cooking.
A sequel to the popular anime series, Harukanaru , will premiere in 2020.
The two-part series follows Haruka, an otaku who is bullied by her classmates for being a writer.
The second half follows Haruno, an aspiring chef who is forced to write the dishes in her restaurant.
The new anime will be set in an alternate reality of the original series, and features the voices of Ai Kayano (Ai Kanon: The Story of the Flowers) and Tomokazu Seki (Sekai Yori: A Life of an Otaku).
An anime adaptation is currently in the making based on two manga that inspired the manga: Haruichi Hara’s Haru Hara: The Melon of the World and Yuuichiro Akimoto’s Harukana Haru Hime.
The movie is scheduled for a 2020 release.
Harukyō Sharingan and Yuuki Moriwaki’s series of light novels have also been renewed for a new anime adaptation in 2019, and are slated for release in 2021.
The books will be adapted into television anime series.
The characters will be voiced by Kōhei Arakawa, Kazuki Hikasa, Tomokawa Kazuhiro and Hiroyoshi Taniguchi.
The novels have already been licensed for the first time in the United States, and the first anime episode is scheduled in 2019 for a US release.
