The Charlotte Hornets announced they will be adding an anime series to their NBA broadcast this fall.
The show, titled Charlotte Basketball, will debut in July, with the series focusing on Charlotte basketball players.
“We’ve seen this trend for a while,” said Hornets owner Michael Jordan, who owns the Charlotte Bobcats.
“There’s a little bit of that buzz around Charlotte, where you see all these teams that are going to be moving to the Big Apple.
I think the Charlotte Hornets are going into the NBA as a team that’s going to have that same type of buzz.
We’re really excited about it.”
The show will premiere on the NBA Network in July.
The network is already broadcasting some other NBA programming, including an episode of the NBA’s “Inside the NBA” show with David Aldridge.
It’s not clear when or where the series will air.
The network has not yet announced which shows it plans to air on its platform.
The NBA has also not announced when it will broadcast its NBA Summer League, which begins in August.
